Shift: 3rd Shift 10pm - 6:30am | Shift Differential $0.80 hour Job
Summary Maintain a clean working environment for all staff and
visitors. Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. May be
expected to make basic repairs. Relies on instructions and
pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. In
the absence of this person, a temporary employee is brought in to
cover the job duties Primary Responsibilities Food Safety is the
responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees . All
Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees must be aware of CCPs in
their area and how to document them appropriately. All staff must
report food safety and quality problems to their immediate
supervisor in charge during their shift. Clean and sanitize
bathrooms and breakroom. Clean, sweep, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum
floors throughout the production plant facility Empty trash inside
the production plant Maintain all exterior walk areas throughout
the entire plant facility sweeping debris and washing walkways
Remove recycling materials. Track and maintain all GMP, Color
coding, and Janitorial supplies. Maintain all automatic hand
sanitizers, GMP stations, and color-coding stations throughout the
entire plant production facility. Clean all windows inside the
plant production facility. Follow all safety rules and practices to
include the wearing of all essential personal protective equipment
Follow all personal hygiene and food safety practices. Demonstrate
reliable attendance, consistent punctuality and a conscientious
attitude at all times. Act professionally towards customers,
vendors and other visitors to the plant. All other duties as
assigned and required . Qualifications and Education Requirements
Ability to speak English, desirable. One (1) year previous
janitorial/custodian experience. Physical Requirements The ability
to meet flexible and changing priorities and the ability to work
under pressure is a must. 100% standing and climbing stairs in a
normal manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for the duration
of the shift. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Ability to perform manual
labor tasks for extended periods.
