Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of rehabilitation professionals. We are dedicated to working with patients who are recovering from serious health events like strokes and injuries, with the goal to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Encompass Health, you will provide expert therapy to patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive issues, utilizing a variety of innovative techniques and therapies. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on functional communication and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver patient-centered care. Educate patients and family members about communication strategies and swallowing safety techniques. Maintain accurate records and document patient progress. Participate in continued education to keep up with the latest practices and technologies in speech therapy. Strong understanding of speech therapy principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in using various speech therapy technologies and equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
