This position involves planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs, as well as providing mentorship to nurses. Additionally, the Nurse Educator will actively engage in patient care to maintain clinical competence.Qualifications:Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) OR other healthcare-related Bachelors Degree requiredExperience 5 years of experience in surgical and/or perioperative nursing, with demonstrated competence in various surgical specialties required Experience in patient and staff education development and implementation, quality improvement, program development and professional development requiredLicenses and Certifications RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Additional unit specific requirements requiredDisclaimers: Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
