Carbon Health will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin or any other status protected by law.**OFFERING $10K SIGN ON BONUS**What Youll DoProvide exceptional treatment, collaborative care options (within the scope of urgent care), including physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatmentOrder and interpret x-rays, lab results and EKGsTriage and manage patients thoroughly and efficiently, maintaining a steady flow to avoid long wait timesPerform digital blocks and regional anesthesia; start IV fluids and perform minor surgical procedures, such as wound closure and management, foreign body removal, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toesPerform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cysts. Start IV fluidsPerform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toes, including nursemaids elbow reductionsApply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliancesReview and manage daily tasks, patient callbacks, and lab results, while on shiftAbout YouMedical/Masters degree and certificationPA - Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification - OR -RN - Valid state license to practice as a Registered Nurse, NP - Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certificationCurrent, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of stateMaintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted DEA licenseAbility to consult and treat patients of all agesExperience in ER, urgent care or similar setting (minimum 2 years)Ability to work two full weekends per month (required for full-time clinicians)Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all timesAvailability to work in other clinic locations and some holidays as needed (preferred)Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cystsPerform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toes, including nursemaids elbow reductionsApply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliancesAbout YouMedical/Masters degree and certificationValid license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification - OR -RN - Valid license to practice as a Nurse PractitionerNational certification upon completion of fellowship programCurrent, unrestricted state medical licenseMaintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted DEA licenseMaintain HIPAA confidentiality and impartiality at all times$59.25 - $82 / hourCompensation offers include an hourly rate plus a wRVU bonus plan, and a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
