Acute Care opening in Tulare, California. Rad Tech Currently looking for a full-time Rad Tech to work within a Hospital setting located in Central California. Interested candidates should be certified with their ARRT, have one-year related experience as an X-ray/Rad Tech. Sign on Bonus and Relocation assistance offered for candidates with three years of experience. Responsibilities of the Rad Tech Technologist : Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations. Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images. Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort. Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast. Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation. Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records. Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies. Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist : Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school AART Certification Must have a CA Fluoroscopy Permit or obtain with six months from hire date.
