This growing Central California hospital is actively interviewing RN Nurse Managers to take oversight of its Women’s Services department. You’ll join a strong and talented leadership team, and you’ll lead a dedicated staff of Obstetrics, NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum caregivers in a technologically advanced hospital.
Seeing nearly 200 births per month, this 15-bed Labor and Delivery department is one of the busiest and has one of the most technologically advanced birthing programs in the California Central Valley. The Nurse Manager will oversee a complex service line that boasts a high-risk pregnancy and delivery program, a low acuity neonatal intensive care (NICU) program, a postpartum and lactation educational program, and everything in between.
Reporting to the Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, the Labor Delivery Nurse Manager will take operational, clinical, and administrative oversight of this busy service line. You’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining excellence along financial, quality, nursing performance, and regulatory compliance guidelines. Through close collaboration and cross-discipline initiatives, you’ll be able to take an active role in the improvement of patient care and caregiver satisfaction all over the hospital.
Supporting the RN Nurse Manager of Obstetrics and Women’s Services, you’ll find a strong team of RNC-OB Nurses led by a Labor & Deliver Supervisor with years of clinical and leadership experience. The units in this department think of themselves as a family quilt, with compassionate and knowledgeable patient care at the fabric that holds it all together. As the clinical leader for this amazing team, you’ll take help develop and implement educational initiatives to improve care skills and you’ll serve as a mentor for nurses who want to grow their management skills.
