  Overview of the Staff Accountant role:
  
  • Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
    
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
    
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
    
  • Perform general ledger functions, including journal entries and month-end/year-end close processes.
    
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions.
    
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
    
  • Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    Preferred qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
      
    • 1+ years of experience in an accounting role
